Hi, I’m Gielen. I help organisations design and evolve internal platforms, operating models and technology services as connected systems of value — aligning governance, teams, services and ways of working so transformation becomes clearer, more coherent and sustainable.
My work sits across enterprise architecture, modern service management, platform strategy and people change, helping organisations move towards more product- and service-oriented technology ecosystems.
Much of my work is grounded in Microsoft Azure, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and Microsoft’s AI ecosystem, including GenAI on Azure, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio. I bring strong technical understanding of these technologies while focusing on their adoption, governance, operating models and organisational evolution.
My work also increasingly extends into Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platforms, particularly around strategy, capabilities, operating models and the organisational conditions needed for them to succeed.
Alongside my consulting work, I share practical resources, articles and tools exploring platforms, modern technology practices, and the evolution of teams and organisations.
